The ficus trees are now about 6 months old. The seeds initially germinated and grew all together in one small pot. I seperated them rather early and quite a few of the delicate plants didn’t survive the move. The three strongest trees did well though. After a while I discovered a fourth one had germinated. You can see all four of them in the photos. The fourth tree is quite a bit smaller but doing well.
The root base is already quite thick for such a young tree. You can already tell this species devlopes a lot of roots. Here are some more pictures from the root base and the leaves of the Ficus macrophylla.
